Based in Darwin, located between Coolalinga and Humpty Doo, our compassionate staff treat each of the pets in their care as if they were their own. We offer comfortable, covered enclosures for all breeds of dogs and air conditioned enclosures cats. We also cater for rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and even lizards, turtles and snakes. There are plenty of large spaces for your fur baby to enjoy, and our dedicated staff will personalise their services to ensure the specific needs of your pet are met.

Leave your darling pets in our care while you go about your day’s work or errands. Have a day to treat yourself knowing your non-human loved one is in great hands with us at A1 Kennels and Cattery. Here they will receive attention, exercise, and meals while waiting for your prompt return at the end of the day.

PET BOARDING
Available for daily, weekly, monthly or extended stays.

Planning on moving or going on a holiday, or maybe you just need your pets to be safe from cracker night? Our secluded paradise in McMinns Lagoon is the ideal haven for your pets to find safety, comfort, and care for those extended stays. You can also add services to maintain their needs like grooming and vet visits.

Dog Rates starting from $45 off peak and $50 during peak.
Cat Rates staring from $40 off peak and $45 during peak.
Other pets from $25 across the calendar.

Meals are provided.

You may add additional services for your pet while in our care from our trusted professionals.
You may also grant access to your preferred service provider to come and perform the tasks at our facility.

GROOMING

Schedule your groomer to come give your pets a little special attention before coming home. Pets staying for a week get a free bath.

VETERINARY

Feel confident knowing there is an emergency veterinarian on call for routine check ups, vaccination, and any other care needs.

In Order to ensure the safety and well being of each and every pet in the compound, we require that vaccinations are kept up to date with current flea and tick protection.

Dogs must have their leash when dropped off.

Administration of any medicine will incur an additional fee of $5 per pet.

The health and safety of your pet is our top priority, and our staff can arrange for additional services while your pet stays with us such as getting a veterinary check up or grooming so they’re fresh and looking their very best for your return.
