Boarding History
This property was originally a Greyhound breeding kennel and came complete with it's own racetrack.
Over time the property was sold and the Greyhounds moved out. This is when A1 Kennels was first established as a boarding facility for dogs. It was later on extended with a luxurious cattery as well.
Damon Bradley bought A1 Kennels & Cattery in 2003 and since then he has significantly renovated, improved and increased the boarding facilities and services provided. A1 Kennels & Cattery are able to board up to 90 dogs and 40 cats in style and comfort!
Pet Transport
In 2008, Damon acquired Dogtainers Darwin, a pet transport company. This new acquisition now allows him to create the perfect partnership, enabling him to offer "Darwins ONLY locally owned and operated complete pet care service". Conveniently located 30 minutes from Darwin, just off the Stuart Hwy in Mc Minns Lagoon.
By the way, we have the facilities to board other pets as well, from birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, other reptiles and even chooks! Just ask us!
