Our pussycat patrons get to lodge in large, multi-storeyed suites. Both single and double suites are available in our newly renovated and aircondtioned facilities.
We understand that different cats have different cattitudes, and we always do our best to accommodate them. Rest assured, the suites at our cattery are spacious enough for your pet to enjoy over both long and short term periods.
Our newly renovated and airconditioned cat suites have three levels accessible by ramps, scratching towers, comfortable bedding and sensory objects. To help the residents of our cattery remain calm and content during their stay, we play music during the day and night.
At A1, we are committed to doing everything we can to make our facilities a second home for your pet. To help your cat get comfortable, we are happy for you to provide their favourite toys. Many cats are happy with a piece of their owners clothing for comfort and familiarity.
When you choose our Darwin cattery, you can rest easy knowing that, should the need arise, we have an excellent vet on call 24/7. The health of your pet is our number one priority.
Fleas & Ticks
To ensure all the pets in our care are protected, we reserve the right to provide flea and tick treatments at your expense should they be discovered on your cat. Cats may wear flea collars during their stay. We always make it a point to inspect our guests for parasites to ensure a clean and healthy premises. For hygiene purposes, we strongly advise you check your cat for fleas and ticks prior to admission. Unfortunately, we do not offer hydrobaths for cats.
We serve all the cats in our care Royal Canin pet food (the brand recommended by vets). However, should your feline have specific dietary requirements, we are happy to accommodate them. You are more than welcome to bring in what your cat will need during their stay with us.
All cats at our cattery must have their current F3 vaccination. The F3 vaccination is to inoculate against:
- Feline Enteritis
- Feline Calici Virus (part of the cat flu virus)
- Feline Rhinotracheitis
A copy of this certificate must be brought in with your cat on check-in.
